Summary of Winter
Winter is one of the three sisters cloned from Dynah by Ryz in the hopes of breeding Esadi that have a close connection to ‘the source’. Winter is a very skilled fighter, trained by the best of Ryz’s people, and her physique attests to that.
Winter however wants to escape the God Queen Ryz and her minions with her sisters Larael and Aine. Getting away and escaping will allow herself and her sisters to live freely. It will stop the killing, at least at her hand and she will no longer have to give herself physically to those who want to use her body. Getting away will help her and her sisters find a life of peace and safety.
Winter and her sisters need to accept that they can’t keep running. They are going to have to face Ryz and overcome her in order to truly gain their freedom. They have to learn to trust others and accept their help, an issue they all share. Finally, they need to come to grips with what happened to them and heal from it, as hard as that is.
Personality of Winter
Winter is very straightforward, honest, and sincere, with a dark sense of humor. She tends to come off as gruff and, in your face, preferring people who will be straightforward and honest with her.
Deception is not her game. She acts directly without hiding. If she doesn’t like you, you will know she doesn’t like you. If she likes you, despite being shy, she will tell you she likes you. She is more likely to punch someone in the face than argue or tell them off. Winter is very black and white and doesn’t like all the cloak-and-dagger-type stuff that she has been taught. She can do it, but she’ll grump about it all day long.
She and her sisters were created by the god queen to be the perfect spy/assassin, to enter into the arenas of her enemies and cause chaos and destruction within the leadership of those enemies. Part of their training was submitting themselves to abuse and perversion to learn how to take advantage of others. She learned how to use people’s perversions against them and take control of them. All of this training caused Winter to close herself off and internalize her aggression and pain, which unfortunately has made her a very angry and distrustful person.
